Locke Design photographer David Locke, along with Fashion Designer Erika Verbeck, Makeup Artist Eric Vosburg and Model Shannon Ellen captured a fall fashion collection in New York’s Central Park in March 2014.

Our photographer David Locke, his wife Robin, Locke Design Brand Ambassador Patsy Hendrix and her daughter Melissa Hendrix Davison traveled to New York City for several days in Mid-march. On a cool Saturday, months of planning by the fashion designer and Locke Design’s photography team came together in 7 hours of shooting starting bright and early in Central Park’s cool morning air. The fashion collection by Erika Verbeck was based on warrior angels and featured both a feminine flowing feel and military construct. The photography was art directed with a cold, wintery, supernatural and dark feeling. Images were desaturated with large apertures.

While in NYC, the Locke Design team had time to take in an Opera at the Met, Broadway show, a few great dinners, night photography as well as some shopping. Then, it was home with a short stop in Philadelphia for a visit to Frank Lloyd Wright’s Beth Sholom Synagogue with just enough time for a few great architectural shots.

Take a look at a short video of the collection we captured in NYC
