Mr. & Mrs. David Locke and Staff of Locke Design Omnimedia were proud to chair the Glenn Constructors 24th Annual Camellia Ball which benefits AnMed Health Foundation and Pediatric Therapy Works. The theme for this year's ball was Venice, chosen because of the history of luxurious parties and masquerades. Locke Design set about creating a logo, branding, website and short film for the event held in downtown Anderson, SC at The Bleckley Station. Our staff worked tirelessly for five months to bring the masquerade to fruition along with hard work by the AnMed Health Foundation Staff. We also could not have hosted an event like this without the amazing support of our sponsors, ambassador co-hosts, wonderful vendors and the hands of many volunteers that help setup the event. Camellia Ball was truly a labor of love to raise money for the children of Pediatric Therapy Works.

Highlights of the decorations included custom dock props built by Mr. Eric Cheek that formed an entrance to the ball with lighting that created the look of water, candy striped docking posts and even a gondola with customized pillows with the event logo. The centerpiece of the event were three columns featuring gigantic floral arrangements by Kris Simpson surrounded by food display tables. The cold food table featured a massive 10 foot long ice sculpture of the Rialto Bridge bathed in pink light that tied together a large pink lighted acrylic bar. The room was lit by AVL Solutions in blue, purple, pink and amber lights that gave the illusion of the Venetian sunset. Projected sunset scenes of Venice illuminated the rusticated walls of Bleckley Station and hundreds of votives, gold candelabras and antique mirrors gave a gilded glow to the party. Our amazing volunteers created yards of magnolia garlands for the balconies and many fresh camellia arrangements that added warmth to ancillary and VIP spaces.
The marvelous menu of food and bar service was provide by Sullivan's Metropolitan Grill, Mix Masters and Cocobon Chocolatier. Tap Snap Photography provided a fun photo booth and many of the props used for the event were provided by Optrics Limited.
Locke Design's position as an advertising agency and graphic design firm meant graphics and social media played a huge part in our design for the masquerade including, logo and branding, printed and die cut save-the-date invitations, e-mail blasts, sponsor display board graphics, menus, tickets and programs. 500 guests also received a favor including a silver and black branded bag with chocolate mask from Cocobon Chocolate, box of candy from Locke Design, program and handwritten note from AnMed Health Foundation.
