Rebranding & Advertising Campaign for LB Insurance

Laurence and Brownlee was founded in 1912 in Anderson, SC. After a storied history, the company elected to take their brand and identity to the next level with a rebrand and new name. Laurence and Brownlee became LB Insurance in 2016, hiring Locke Design Omnimedia to bring the new brand and corporate identity to life. First, Locke Design set about designing a new logo, color scheme, font system and corporate identity system for LB. The next stage began with creation of collateral designs including letterheads, envelopes, business cards, note cards, brochures and signage. Additionally, Locke Design captured new staff photography for LB Insurance for use on the web in our in-house studio. After new print collateral, signage and digital solutions where in place it was time to drive traffic to LB through a myriad of advertising solutions including direct mail, print billboards, digital billboards, social media, targeted emails, customer follow-ups and local print advertising in magazines and newspapers.
Stage one of the advertising campaign launched in fall of 2016 and was institutional brand awareness based. The main thrust of the campaign was to ingrain the new name, logo and tiger mascot for LB in the collective consciousness of Anderson, SC. Stage two launched in spring of 2017 with a call to action initiative for home, auto and business insurance within the 29621 zip code. Effective advertising brought to bare included over 20,000 pieces of targeted direct mail, Facebook Ads, digital billboards and print billboards with an innovative tiger buildout on each board to draw attention. After a year of Locke Design Omnimedia's creative expertise LB Insurance is poised for fresh growth.
